ICANN CEO Paul Twomey closes this correspondence with the following sentance:

Said date being 6PM on 10/04/2003. ICANN finally starts feeling its oats, and decides that Verisign better knuckle under on this domain redirection wildcard thing before they lose their monopoly on coining money by providing the worst customer service on the face of the planet.
